ServicesIn summary B.I.T.S. provides expertise to customers across a wide section of the IT industry, covering business, geographical, financial and engineering applications, databases and other IT needs. Our services cover all phases of application development, from requirements gathering and specifications, to development, testing and deployment. We can take in-house applications to the next step or we can build new applications from the ground up. We can use existing requirements and specifications or we can help define them , using a well-defined Methodology. We provide expertise in Application Development (Visual Basic, C++, .Net, Java, ASP), Databases (SQL Server, Oracle, Access) , Web Development and GIS (ArcGIS 8.x,MapObjects, ArcIMS, ArcSDE). The standard rate of services for State Agencies is $75/hr for time-and-materials based contracts for all Services codes. ProductsOn the products side, our flagship is an Enterprise Network Scheduler for automating computer operations, with full scheduling capabilities, various types of dependencies, and various levels of notification and alarm for mission critical jobs. It is a MS Windows-based solution, using SQL Server or Oracle databases, with agents on a variety of platforms. Detailed information on ENS and other applications is provided in Products. |

Service & Maintenance PlanOn the Services B.I.T.S. can provide a short-term as well as a long-term maintenance plan which will be agreed upon with the contracting agency and will be factored into the pricing of the contract. The cost of the maintenance plan is typically based on time and materials. Regular support [SMP-001] is available during normal business hours through the contact information. 24x7 support requires advanced arrangement during the development of the contract terms and conditions. Maintenance can be provided either on-site or off-site, depending on the nature of the project and problem. The following table shows the two available maintenance plans for Services.
On the Products B.I.T.S. presently provides full support and maintenance for the Enterprise Network Scheduler. Both Technical Support for implementation issues as well as Consulting for deployment and infrastructure considerations is available. Different Maintenance plans can range from an annual Maintenance with upgrades, to an hourly consulting with certain number of free consultation hours. Specific maintenance prices and codes are included with the specific Products. |
