Wastewater Capacity Reservation System
- Redesigned the City of Houston Wastewater Capacity Reservation System (WCRS)
mission-critical application.
- Converted the application to a client/server architecture using Visual Basic 6 to create
appropriate components.
- Changed the data access protocol from DAO to ADO, using appropriate providers for the
underlying database.
- Migrated the database from Access to Oracle 8.
- Developed installation for application deployment.
Street Cut Permitting System
- Participated in requirements gathering, component and interface design for the Street
Cut Permitting System (SCPS) GIS web-based application.
- Participated in workflow definition for the different types of permit applications
- Interfaced with the client to stay in-tune with the project requirements.
- Participated in the database and utility modeling.
- Application development supervision in an advisory capacity
- Development of an NT Service with an IIS interface for a geocoding and data mining
application, code named Fetcher.
- Developed a data migration utility from XML and CSV to Oracle.
