The Scientific Calculations Add-On is a set of ActiveX components that can be used in scientific applications, Excel spreadsheets, or any Windows application that can use ActiveX components.

The Add-On consists of a number of components organized in object models, to provide basic and advanced Mathematical functionality, such as matrix manipulation, curve fitting, solutions to polynomials and differential equations, etc. The object models implement interfaces which expose methods and properties.

The Add-On includes a free-format equation parser for solving user defined functions.

The Add-On includes on-line documentation and samples for using the available properties and methods. Web-based documentation is sold separately.
