Description

• The Network Scheduler is a Microsoft Windows based solution to allow complex processes to take place, with many job and data interdependencies. The system provides uninterrupted operation and critical error notification, when there is operator intervention required.
• The client/server architecture consists of,
• one or more scheduling Engines for distributed processing,
• a central ODBC compliant scheduling database (RDBMS, such as SQL Server or Oracle, not included)
• one or more clients per host to execute the required jobs at the appropriate time
• one or more Control Panels for managing and monitoring job execution and the progress of the schedule.
• The main scheduling Engine resides on a Windows NT or 2000 and runs as a Service.
• The scheduling Agents are supported for Windows 9x, Windows NT and Windows 2000, and they.are either Services (on Windows NT and 2000) or operate as such (on Windows 9x).
• The Control Panel for job scheduling and monitoring is a standard client application. Web-based Control Panel is sold separately.
• The system comes with complete client and server installation on CD-ROM.
• The product includes standard on-line documentation. Web-based documentation is sold separately.
